Scenario
After being released from prison, mafia capo Dwight "The General" Manfredi is deported to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he builds a new criminal empire. The opening credits sequence shows various photographs and painted scenes superimposed on the New York City landscape, as well as landmarks in Oklahoma: a statue of a Sioux Indian chief "Touch the Clouds" Major Manhattan "Avenue" superimposed on the Statue of LibertyRoute 66 Western Gateway Arch superimposed on the Brooklyn BridgeGolden Driller wears a War Bonnet and Bone Choker necklace (breastplate).

In New York City, in the borough of Manhattan, they are numbered "Avenues" They are crossed by streets with small numbers.. I have always loved King of Tulsa.

This is a fun crime show that knows exactly what it should be and you can tell the cast, led by Sylvester Stallone, is doing it. It follows New York mafia boss Dwight "The General" Manfredi (Stallone) who is released from prison after 25 years.
After he doesn’t feel the love of his gang, he starts to build his own in Tulsa
He thinks he is coming out to a hero’s welcome but instead is sent to Tulsa to run things. Some of it can come off a little silly, but overall it’s a really good show to watch.
It’s clearly doing well, which is great news because it’s already been renewed for a second season!
