Scenario
Helen embarks on a passionate affair with a man who has no idea what her secret identity is. When her lover falls victim to London’s dangerous criminal underworld, Helen’s employer calls in Sam to protect her. Neither of them mentions „Love, Actually,“ a hugely popular Christmas movie.
That’s probably because Keira Knightley stars in both films
Starring Graham Norton and guests: Cher/Keira Knightley/Michael Fassbender/Josh Brolin/Jalen Ngonda (2024). Definitely an interesting watch with a very diverse and entertaining cast of characters. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a spy thriller done in such an interesting way with spies/triggers of this magnitude.
It feels like Guy Ritchie with more dialogue, introspection, and emotion
There’s definitely a certain element of subversion, and the mystery is very gripping. I think what makes or breaks a show is definitely the characters, and while there are times when the story could have flowed better or been more engaging, I stuck with the characters and their intriguing relationships. The chemistry.
Hopefully, this isn’t another Netflix cancellation
The action was very well choreographed, and the gunfights were thrilling. It’s definitely worth watching, and I’m curious to learn more about Black Doves. No need to waste time scrolling endlessly — here’s the full slate of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
