Despite being confined to the setting of a taxi, it never felt boring
The plot may not appeal to everyone, but if you’re open to a film that focuses on dialogue and everyday themes, you’ll definitely be able to appreciate what this film has to offer. For me, it was an engaging film that tackled a variety of themes: generational differences, digital versus analog communication, “father issues,” and the importance of human connection, to name a few.
Ultimately, the film thrives on authentic performances from the two leads
*Daddio* is a thought-provoking and intimate exploration of human connection that proves that sometimes the deepest conversations can happen in the most unexpected places.
