A grieving therapist starts to tell his clients exactly what he thinks
Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge changes to people's lives – including his own.. The cast of "Shrinking" share the top moments that defined their characters in Season 1 and reveal who has the best Harrison Ford impression.. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford to be in the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a "Harrison Ford type," and was going to audition people similar to Ford.

Segel told Goldstein they had to at least bring it to Ford first, thinking he would turn it down immediately, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was brought the project, generating interest from other notable actors. In the end, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him on the role. Goldstein still doesn't understand what he did to convince him, but was elated nonetheless..
The acting was terrific
This was a solid production and very unique storyline. I love how each character embraces their imperfections and shows vulnerability and employs humor to make spiritual growth.Shrinking has a ton of heartfelt moments, awkward moments, mildly funny cute moments and laugh out loud moments. I hope they continue to make additional seasons of this because the character development warrants it.Is it perfect?
But neither are any of us
No. I think the overuse of profanity takes away from the overall power potential here. It's almost like the writers are forcefully making the show edgy.
Definitely worth watching it
I personally don't think it needed it. That's why I gave it an 8.
